Housing Intensification, Melbourne 2011 (second component)

This layer shows the second component of housing intensification for Melbourne 2011. SPSS was used to run the factor analysis. Raw data was downloaded from ABS, SA1, 2011 Factor 2 is dominated by the economically engaged. Main characteristics of this group is that it encompasses two sub-groups. The first group is comprising of full-time employed managerial and professional occupations with high level household income (A$2500 and above). This sub-group assumed to be younger middle aged (35-54) Australian (Oceania and Antarctica) couples (family households without children). The other sub-group includes part-time employers engaged in service and administration occupations with medium level of income (A$1500- 2500). This sub-group is mostly migrated from North West Europe and Americas and were living in semi-detached Terrace and/or townhouses. Component 2 explains 7.1 eigenvalues of variance (%15 of total variation).
